WinUAE 4.0 is a freeware hardware emulator app developed by Toni Wilen for Windows.

Windows port of the UAE Amiga emulator with extensive ROM support
UAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. It features a well done GUI as well as some extras like midi and AGA emulation.
The software is simply known as UAE which occasionally gets backronymed as Universal Amiga Emulator, Ultimate Amiga Emulator or Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator.
UAE does not include the original Amiga operating system ROM and files, which are required for running an Amiga system.

WinUAE is provided under a freeware license on Windows from console emulators with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 4.0.1 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can WinUAE run on?
WinUAE can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It's only available as a 64-bit download.
